White Stilton with Mango & Ginger

Type: White Stilton infused with mango and crystalized ginger. Semi firm, pasteurized cow's milk, crumbly. Name protected.

Dominant Flavours: Creamy, crumbly, sweet and slightly spicy from the ginger. Decadently rich. 

Description: A traditional dessert cheese in the UK. Name protected and can only be made in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire using specific milk and cheesemaking methods. A white stilton is made with the same milk as it's cousin the Blue Stilton without the blue.  A terrific dessert pairing!

Pairing notes: The perfect pairing! Our Chocolate Milk Stout is impeccable with the White Stilton. Sweet Mango and spicy sugary ginger match the sweet malty chocolate flavours in the beer. A beautiful balance of sweet heat. Also lovely with our Russian Imperial Stout or try the County Brown Ale to experience a transformation in both the beer and cheese.
